Giving Tuesday is Almost Here! Save the Date – November 28th

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities. Giving Tuesday marks the beginning of NNV’s End of Year Campaign - raising critical funds that support our work combatting social isolation and providing vital services that enable neighbors to thrive as they age in our community.

This year, the NNV board has made a generous pledge to match end-of-year donations up to $30,000! Your gift will go twice as far in giving your older neighbors the support, information, and confidence they need to stay in their homes, engage with their communities, and live life on their own terms.

We invite you to join us in making our vision—a generous, supportive, inclusive community where all older adults are valued, age with dignity, and enjoy opportunities for growth and engagement—a reality.

To learn more about how you can make a difference in your community or to make an early gift, please visit our donation page.

Speaking of a supportive community, NNV will be announcing the 2023 Volunteer of the Year Award at our annual Holiday Party on December 8th. Do you know a special volunteer who helped you in a pinch, carries interesting conversations, or can be counted on to provide that personal touch? Now is your chance to make sure your favorite volunteer gets the recommendation s/he deserves. And, you don’t have to limit your choice to just one! Members can recommend as many volunteers as they’d like. To recommend your favorite volunteer – or volunteers! – please email Heather at hhill@nnvdc.org.

We hope to see you at the Holiday Party, click here to sign up. Full members can request a ride by December 1st by contacting 202-935-6060 or info@nnvdc.org.

Our sincerest thanks for all you do to make our Village special. NNV board and staff extend our warmest greetings for the Holiday Season.
