We are members of the Northwest Neighbors Village (NNV) community responsible for welcoming, encouraging greater engagement, and increasing the number of NNV members and volunteers. We welcome members of the NNV community who would like to join us.
What do we do? We work with the NNV team to attract and retain members and volunteers, periodically survey members and volunteers to assess program effectiveness and changing needs and interests, and launch new outreach efforts designed to enhance NNV’s reach and effectiveness.
Current activities:
Membership outreach: We work with NNV to track monthly changes in membership, send welcome notes, birthday greetings, and periodic personal messages of appreciation, and follow up with former members (whose memberships have recently expired) We host informal social gatherings of members and volunteers to strengthen bonds within the NNV community.
Volunteer engagement: NNV relies on its dedicated volunteers. We organize small events to show our appreciation and build community within our volunteer corps.
Organize Social Programming: We are deeply committed to our grassroots beginnings and believe that member-driven programming is critical to ensuring that our offerings are reflective of our Village’s interests and needs. That is why our Working Group plans and facilitates programs that are organized by our members and volunteers for our village.
